Car is in great condition for weekend driving fun. Mechanically solid, could use tuning of carburetor. Has been upgraded with a Weber down draft carb. New clutch slave cylinder. Fun to drive, just doesn't work for me with a family of four. Known problems, there is short discharging the battery even when key switch off. I have been disconnecting battery cable to save battery. The horn/turn signal/high beam switch on steering column is broken, everything works, but the lever does not click and stay in place for high beam. I suspect this as source of short/battery drain. The only other significant damage is a spot on the passenger side dash (see photo). Overall great condition for a 1979 year model car. Top is in great shape, see photos with it up and down. Could be mint condition with rub and polish, and a few accessory pieces replaced. Chrome beauty rings around wheels could use replacement. For sale locally, and designated for local pickup.
