Price: US $5,000.00
Less than 4000 miles on rebuilt 3.l v6 , T5 transmission, clutch kit, brakes, and tires, and exhaust.. Engine is fuel injected 3.1 v6 out of 92 Camaro. Electronics run by DYNA-TUNE engine management system that will connect to laptop. Now set pretty close to factory specs. Exhaust is single with muffler and resonator. Quiet until you get on it. Transmission is 5 speed T5 w/.63 overdrive ratio. This translates to 2000rpm at an indicated 70mph. Not your normal GT. This car is smooth and very quick. It does take some getting used to so you dont get on power too quick. It will push you back in the seat if not careful.
Inside: Seats are in very good condition and were redone w/new covers and webbing at time of rest of rebuild. Floors are solid w/no carpet in front and fully insulated. Does have the full MG rubber mats. All guages work, even the cigarette lighter. Sound system is Clarion marine am/fm cd w/four speaker boom box in rear. Air conditioning works and blows cold. Dash in good shape. Front interior light doesnt work but rear one at hatch does. They both need lens covers. The spare tire well is also solid without rust and spare good. Jack and tools there. Have key to glovebox but doesnt open for some reason. Also has keyed battery shut off switch behind rear seat. Only shuts off the negative so radio can keep presets.
Outside: Paint seems all original except hood looks as been repainted. There is some rust on left rear above wheel and some bubbles right at front of wheel. Rest of body solid w/some small dents here and there from years of use. There is also some surface rust where paint has chipped off. Chrome trim has parking lot dents but i have clean trim to put on.
I am sure I have missed something so ask all questions b4 bidding. This car came from a MG enthusiast who did it right and is now doing a 1964. This car does not drive like your normal MG. The engine is Smooth and quick. Tranny has very short throw on shifter. If you live close enough come by and I will take you for a spin. I do have the overiders for bumpers. Yech. All in all this is descent example that could use a little bodywork, paint, and carpet to be great. If it doesnt sell I plan to keep it just like it is. I have to take a trip to Maryland and Ohio at end of month and if still have it, its what i will drive. Car has clean Oklahoma title signed and notarized by previous owner and ready to go in your name.. Is currently insured in my name and I am driving it. Plan on taking it to local show Tuesday. O bidders must contact b4 bidding, otherwise you will be cancelled and blocked.
