A near perfect 1975 MGB GT for sale. No accidents, no rust. A former Louisiana car with a complete nut and bolt restoration. I have had the GT for 5 years- was shown 7 times and has 5 first place in class trophies, one second place and one best British Car at a mixed meet. One of the last GTs imported into the U.S. Haggerty scale rated 2+, not a concourse car but damn close!
No disappointments here- drive any where and enjoy.
Clear Pennsylvania title in hand. Beautiful and fully sorted car ready for Fall drives. 91, 496 original miles, 1, 200 miles since completion. Just broken in!
Body Details:
Straight, no accident, no rust body. Was built in December 1974 - had rubber bumpers- professionally converted to chrome bumpers. All original body panels, straight as an arrow. All original windshield and window glass. Bare metal respray using Blue Royal (factory MG color) with a NEW Autumn leaf interior. Extra sound padding, new Autumn Leaf carpets, new seals, new door and window gaskets, etc. All exterior chrome in excellent condition, trim and lenses are new. New gas tank, new SU electronic fuel pump.
Engine Details:
Fully rebuilt with a completely rebuilt big valve head that has a street port and polish, overbored with new .040 over AE pistons, fully balanced rotating internals, .010 under crankshaft with all new bearings, new APT VP12 camshaft, venier cam sprockets, all new parts including oil pump, water pump, new lifters and push rods, APT fasteners, new seals and gaskets , etc. Alloy valve cover, Dual SU HIF 4s rebuilt by Joe Curto, Full Stainless steel sport exhaust. Runs great!
Driveline details:
Fully rebuilt Overdrive 4 speed new seals, syncros and bearings, fully rebuilt overdrive by Quantum Mechanics, new u joints in drive shaft, rebuilt rear axle with new shims, bearings and seals. New complete clutch and pressure plate.
Suspension Details:
Fully rebuilt front including, rebuilt steering rack, rebuilt king pins, poly bushings, camber reduction kit, new shocks, new tie rods and new springs.
Fully Rebuilt differential and rear suspension using poly bushings, new seals, new bearings, new springs and Spax Gas tube shocks. 15 inch VTO alloy wheels with 195/60x15 Yokohama radials.
Brake Details:
All new brake lines, new brake master cylinder, new brake booster, fully rebuilt calipers, new pads, new rotors, Goodrich Stainless hoses, new rotors, new rear shoes, new wheel cylinders, adjusters, springs , etc.
Interior Details:
New Sports Leather steering wheel, New billet Aluminum door pulls and window winders, am/fm/cd/usb head unit with 4 Blaupunkt speakers, all gauges rebuilt with new chrome bezels, new switches, rear defroster works as designed, fully rebuilt front seats with new Autumn Leaf fabric covers (as original on 1974 GTs), new foams, new seals, new Autumn Leaf door panels, new Autumn leaf door rails, new center console, perfect head liner and trim, all gauges and switches work as original. Perfect electrical system- everything works!
Too much to list- I am sure I forgot a great deal. Much time and money invested, selling to thin my herd of British cars.
Factory jack and spare tire with steel wheel included.
The original rear fold down seat assembly that needs redone is included in the sale.
The car is excellent and I invite independent inspections.
