Hey gear heads!1972 MG Midget for no reserve auction.
So I picked this Midget up from a family friend who's husband has recently passed. It has been off the road and in storage for at least the last 10 to 12 years. After cleaning off the dust we found a really nice car!
The engine does run. We changed the plugs, filed the points, hooked up an auxiliary tank, threw in a battery, and it started right up. Factory fuel pump does still work. It is disconnected at the moment. Plan on a thorough cleaning of the gas tank and lines.The hydraulic systems for brakes and clutch will need to be gone through. I do not know the condition of the clutch or gear box. It will also need tires.
You can see the small amounts of rust on each side of the front cowl. There is also a 4-5 inch hole in the driver's side floor pan. I'll put a few pics up of the underside in a day or two.
Interior is still pretty nice, and the top has no holes or tears.
The car has a clean PA title in my name, ready to transfer to the new owner. I'm selling it AS IS!!!!!
