RUST FREE 1971 MG Midget
Up For sale is an excellent condition 1971 MG Midget. I bought this car from an Arizona owner in February 2013. After two years of enjoying the car, I have decided to sell it and move on to another project. This car is exceptionally clean and rust free. It has the normal body dings here and there due to its age, but nothing out of the ordinary. I have tried to include plenty of pictures for your review. Mechanical restoration is 90% complete and has had over 10K in restoration work in the last 3 years. A nice paint job and aluminum wheels and this car is ready. Receipts for all of the work and parts installed will come with the car.
This is a very nice MG and is ready to be used it as a weekend driver or a daily driver. The engine has been rebuilt with a high performance cam, carb and headers. A Nissan 5 speed transmission has been installed with a Rivergate conversion kit. This MG has plenty of power and can run highway speed with no problem.
The following is a summary of work done on the car.
Complete Engine Overhaul, w/ Street Cam, Weber Carb.
Nissan 5 Speed Transmission, w/ Rivergate conversion.
Headers with Stainless Exhaust & new muffler.
New convertible top, with new frame.
New Radiator.
New rack and pinion.
New front dampers.
Rear shock conversion.
New Brakes and Master cylinder.
Tires are 95% tread.
