This MG Midget is the desirable round arch model that was only made from late 72 to early 74. During the restoration the body was completely stripped, reworked and painted by a professional. All rust was cut out and replaced - no bondo. The inside of the tub was painted with a sealer to protect against rust. The color applied is an original MG color called Aconite which is appropriate for the year model. The interior of the car was also replaced and is like new. The windshield, front wiring harness, carburetors, master cylinders, brakes, wheel bearings, shock absorbers, water pump, and radiator have all been rebuilt. The top and rear springs were replaced with new. The car starts and drives as it should. What doesn't work: The gas gage. The mileage is not the actual mileage on the car. I do not know the mileage on the engine but it has good compression, avg 120lb on the four cylinders, and, after a tune up, it has always run good for me. I have tried to give an accurate overview of the car but please ask questions if you have any. I purchased the car to restore. After the restoration was pretty much complete I traded it to my Father for another Midget so he would have a reliable car to drive.
