CONTACT DEALERSHIP VIEW DEALERSHIP SHOWROOM Vehicle Overview This 3 owner 1953 MG TD is presented is MG RED with tan interior. The first owner kept it from 1953 to 1960. The second owner kept it from 1960 to 2004. The third and present owner has completely restored and maintained it to the quality you see today. The frame on restoration was completed this year. the engine has less than 2000 miles on it since being rebuilt back to factory standards along with the new clutch. Restoration including a complete new wiring harness, new top and side curtains, entire suspension was rebuilt including original shocks, the pedal shafts was replaced, all new rubber and seals down to the rubber spacers between the spring leafs an inner rear axle sealed bearings. Original gauges and wiper motor were restored. the brake system was rebuilt with a new original brand Girling master cylinder and stainless steel wheel cylinder. The original SU carburetors were rebuilt, all new fasteners were replaced with chrome or stainless steel ones. The original chrome parts are in remarkably good condition as are the 1960s updated leather upholstery and interior panels. Including with this numbers matching TD are the documents of the history since 1960, the current owners restoration receipts from 2004 until completion, original jack and handle, engine crank, several tools and a period correct shop manual.DO NOT BID ON THIS VEHICLE UNLESS YOU PLAN ON PURCHASING IT IF YOU ARE THE HIGHEST BIDDER THAT MEETS RESERVE. Understanding that the vehicle will remain available for purchase until the deposit has been secured. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 business days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
