Description:
This car was purchased by Roy Jacobsen of Franklin, Mass when he was 16 years old.
Over the next 25 years he restored the car and raced it with the Vintage Sports Car Club of America. Complete race history documented and available.
It has participated in events in the United States, Canada, and the Untied Kingdom.
It was restored for the third time in 1990 and purchased by current owner in 1996
The TD MkII Competition Model was introduced with a more highly tuned engine using an 8.1:1 compression ratio giving 57 bhp (43 kW) at 5, 500 rpm. The TD MkII also featured twin fuel pumps, additional Andrex dampers, and a higher ratio rear-axle.
The car is being sold by the Estate of a longtime member of the Vintage Sports Car Club.
