I really don't know what else to say? Vehicle is very solid. Had it on the lift and frame is very good as is the wood. I would have the carbs rebuilt, just because they are 60+ years old. I didn't trust the original SU fuel pump so added a small booster pump. That and the electric solenoid are the only modifications. Original mechanical solenoid included if you want it. New ignition/headlight switch. New horn/dimmer switch. Directionals are just a toggle switch. I stripped the car to base metal and there is NO filler. Car is in midstate New Hampshire. This is NOT a car you can hop in and drive home, but with a weekend or two you will be enjoying the fresh air. I have another TD and girlfriend just loves it. Reserve is 11, 000, less then I have invested. I don't know WHY it says standard green but Ebay will not let me change it????

| “Original XPAG engine runs well but could use a tuneup. Almost complete new braking system including lines, wheel cylinders and shoes. Original master cylinder. Only modifications are extra electric fuel pump and starter converted to electric solenoid. Very easy to switch back. Top (uninstalled) and tires are new. Side curtains need recovering. One VERY small dent (apple sized) in front fender. Easy fix. Carpet needs finish cutting (carpet included). Most chrome very good. Wood is solid. 100% complete including the original air cleaner and manifold. Seat is not bolted in (for carpet replacement). Generator currently inop? Steering/suspension very tight. Good clutch. Runs, drives and stops. All original gauges work. New battery Paint does need buffing out. All parts not in photos included. Engine number matches ID plate. A beautiful car with a little work. No title as NH does not issue for a vehicle this old.” |
