1954 MG TF with the 1500cc XPAG motor # 31365 showing 43, 000 miles on the odometer for sale. This car was completely restored years ago but sat and suffered some fire damage to the paint and upholstery from a garage fire 2 years ago. Only the upper surfaces were affected from the fire nothing else. The car is still in great shape and drives great. It starts, runs, drives, shifts and brakes just fine. A new fuel pump, starter and battery were added to get it running. The picture of the guages are with the engine running showing the tach at idle, good oil pressure and 85 degrees C for normal engine temperture after a drive to warm it up. I have driven this car for long drives at highway speeds and the oil pressure and temperture do not change and hold constant. Speedometer works and all guages and lights work except for the following: clock, horn button, headlight and brake light. All other lights including dash and turn signal work. The fuel tank was also removed and cleaned out and lined and primed for paint with a new sender and the low fuel light works on the dash. All this car needs is a paint job and some upholstery work. I have a steering wheel ordered and looking to replace the windshield. This would be a great project for someone who can do there own paint work or excellent candidate to get a professional paint job. If you have questions please contact me or call (910) 988-9077.
