Up for your consideration is a 1981 Austin Mini. The car is a show stopper! The body is as straight as an arrow and that ain’t easy on a black car!!! It has the 1.3 litre engine and the rare full cloth sun roof. She drives as only a Mini can with no known issues. Everything about this car screams “NEW”! From the Leather and cloth insert interior to the exquisite real thick (no veneer) wood dash and glove box. The only things I can fault it on is the sand blast/rock chips low on both rear wheel flares, one one inch scratch low in the door, tiny ding in the trunk lid, bigger dings in the grill (see pic) and that is about it and I am being real picky! The tires are as new, no scuffs on the wheels. All the chrome looks like it did when it came out of the factory. No rust anywhere. Now, as you can see in the photos, it is left hand drive and even has an aftermarket A/C system (needs a charge). It comes with a shop manual and all the correct keys. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere in the USA or (once there lol) anywhere in the world! This car has been driven and owned in the affluent Southampton Yuppy section of Long Island NY and is sold with a clear title. It is dealer owned so if you are the lucky buyer in NY it will be NY state inspected for an additional $37 and NYS tax collected. Out of state buyers will not have any additional charges unless they want an in transit permit to drive it home. I will expect a $1000.00 PayPal deposit due within 24 hours and the balance in a certified, cashiers or bank check within one week unless other arrangements are made in advance . Wire transfer also accepted. Car will not leave the premises until the bank clears all funds. Sold as is where is with buyer to arrange and pay for shipping. You are more than welcome to ask questions or stop by for an in person inspection. I do not have prior history on this car but believe it was restored or is an incredible original from Germany. The odometer shows 12789 kilometers which is about 7950 miles and the prior owner said it was original and correct.! My Mini had to be listed as a 1980 due to eBay not accepting the Vin. EBay does not require a vin on 1980 and older! But it is titled as a 1981.
