2005 Mini Cooper in excellent condition* with only 50, 560 miles on it. All records (repair, service, etc) are available for the car. Both the interior and exterior are in great condition. Pepper white with black roof. The car has never been in an accident (except the rear bumper was dented while it was parked in a parking lot, and immediately replaced).
*The only issue with the car is that the transmission needs to be replaced, likely soon. There is a class action lawsuit against Mini for premature failure of the transmission, but the claims window on the lawsuit for this car has passed (because it has so low mileage the transmission developed problems only after the lawsuit period ended). We have spoken with Mini USA and they may cover a small part of the costs of the transmission replacement. This is a great car for someone looking for a project. We unfortunately do not have the bandwidth to do this ourselves at this time, so are offering it to someone else who can capture the fantastic value left in this car.
The original owner was my sister. I purchased it from her. It has been used mainly for light city commuting.
The car is located in San Francisco, and can be driven locally. It is our preference to find a buyer in the region, but for buyers outside of the SF Bay Area, transfer arrangements will need to be made.
This is a relisting because the successful bidder flaked out; he did not respond to emails after the auction closed.
