The body of this car is in excellent condition. Mechanically well maintained. Synthetic oil only. 93 octane fuel always. Never hit. Never driven in salty conditions.
Recent item changed on this car includes; High Pressure fuel pump, Throttle body, 2 oxygen sensors, mass air flow sensor, oil pressure switch, vanos solenoid, Valve cover, Set of new coils, new crankcase breather hose, new rubber intake boot, auxiliary water pump, water pump to thermostat hose and thermostat housing. BMW/Dealer campaign for timing chain/guide replacement, BMW/Dealer campaign was completed for turbo heat shield, BMW/Dealer campaign completed for extended exhaust pipes.
1) The car has 149, 300 plus miles. (This is all Florida highway miles however. Engine is well maintained with regular FULL synthetic oil service. Recent compression test shows excellent results on all all four cylinders in excess of 170 psi).
2) The driver side airbag light is illuminated due to the passenger seat base flap issue, or wire under seat stretched. (Common with this car).
3) The engine check light illuminates periodically with code 2177. Suspect INTANK fuel pump. Not fixing, as car is for sale.
