I have a 2009 Lightning Blue Metallic Mini Cooper Base. It has 126k miles on the clock which are mostly highway and commuting miles. The car does have the typical wear of being daily driven, i.e. driver side seat is a slightly worn, (nothing too major) the front of the car has some minor paint blemishes (again from the daily driving). The AC blows cold and the heater blows hot! The car does have many options including the Sport package and the Cold Weather Package. With the Sport package you get the rally strips, front and rear fog lamps, the dynamic traction control, and also comes with Sport mode which greatly increases the handling and steering sensitivity. With the Cold Weather Package you get heated seats, heated and power folding side mirrors and heated windshield washer jets. The Car also comes with the powered Dual-Pan Sunroof. A complete listing of the car’s options is listed below. These originally added over $7000 to the car’s original MSRP and were all worth it!
The car originally came with all chrome trim, but really wasn't my style so I replaced it all with the Mini black trim, along with carbon fiber mirror caps and door handles. The car does have a few performance upgrades including a custom Flowmaster cat-back exhaust done professionally by Ken's Muffler up in Fort Collins. The car also has a Spectre CAI, (Cold Air Intake). It has carbon ceramic brake pads and slotted and drilled front and rear rotors to go with those pads.
The Mini is fantastic driver with great gas mileage. Highway driving yields 40+ mpg, and in normal city driving the car stays in the mid 30’s mpg. It has always been a pleasure to drive in all weather conditions.
The car is VERY clean inside and out, and Mechanically Sound, I have the service records upon request. KBB has the same car with similar options and condition priced at $9500. However I recognize the realities of selling and do know that whoever wins the auction will be truly satisfied with the car!
