One owner - This a mature adult owned 2011 Mini Cooper – John Cooper Works car that is fully loaded with factory extras including stripes, matching mirrors, and alloy wheels. Driver is 71 years old and have all records for this car. It has only been taken to the Penske Mini dealership where it was bought it new for all maintenance. This has always been an Arizona car since new, I recently just moved back to the Quad Cities in February ’16, where I am selling now. The entire car has been looked over by Des Moines Mini, the only Mini dealer in Iowa, and they only found a thermostat needed replacement ($535 if not under warranty) I have an extended warranty that goes through August 2017 or (6 year warranty or 100, 000 miles). It is transferrable to the next owner for $50. The car I has been washed every week and detailed every 1 month inside and out. It is in superb condition and is mainly a one driver car. The back seats and passenger seat are in excellent condition, and there is minimal wear to the driver seat. All options including the rear fog light, xenon front lights, navigation were added as options to this car; I special ordered the car from England. There are $3825 in Mini upgrades (including hood/light/fender protective film and 17” JCW challenge wheels) and the extended warranty was $4, 571. The total cost for car was $48, 856. The car has 49, 500 miles and as mentioned before the dealership just went through everything on the car on 5/16/16 and only found a faulty sensor on thermostat, so the entire thermostat was replaced. It’s ready to be driven, over 90% of the miles on this car are highway, this car was used for commuting back and forth to work and long duration trips in the southwest. It averages 30 miles per gallon, for city/highway, but the overwhelming majority of miles are all highway. It’s one of the most fun cars I’ve ever driven, and I’ve only driven Trans-am’s and Corvettes 37 years prior to this. The power to weight ratio is incredible, while still averaging great mpg. For the money, it’s one of the best handling and driving experiences I’ve encountered. This car has been meticulously maintained and looks just as nice as the day it was new. All required Mini check-ups have been completed. There are 32 pages of service records for the car. It’s completely stock other than tinting the windows which were required in the Arizona desert. The tinting was completed also at the dealership. I have all documentation for every trip the car had to dealership.
I’m selling this car at a fraction of the price; there isn’t better looking, well maintained and cared for Mini than this car. You will not be disappointed.
