Here is a fun little 6-speed manual Mini Cooper John Cooper Works Hardtop. The inline-4 cylinder engine puts out 208hp and 192 ft/lbs of torque, compared to the 181hp and 177 ft/lbs of the regular Cooper S. With a weight of only 2700lbs and a low center of gravity it feels like a go-cart and it truly is a joy to drive. At cruising speeds the turbocharger keeps you in the power curve and it makes passing cars on a highway or freeway a breeze. Or put it into Sport Mode and control the rev's to hear it pop and crackle. Being so small parking is really easy but since it is a hatchback there is plenty of room for boxes or hiking equipment. I even fit my Great Dane in there on a short trip to the park one day; after folding the back seats he could lie down easily (standing was another thing - probably 36in to 40in height available after seats are folded). This particular Mini does have a small crack in the windshield. If I don't have it fixed by the time we strike a deal I'll take $500 off. Willing to consider offers within 1-1.5K of price depending on how far you are and good faith effort/shipping. Or come to the wonderful state of Kansas this fall and drive it home while the leaves are changing colors. The tinted windows (completed August 2016) are legal and look great.
