I am the original owner of this 2003 Mini Cooper S R53, purchased from Irvine Mini in Irvine, California in June 2003. It was my daily driver for approximately 18 months, and then was driven periodically and on weekends. My son just turned sixteen and drives a larger car, so it's time to see my Mini go on to another good owner. This car has been kept in a garage since purchase.
Factory options include Black Panther Profile leather seats, Harman Kardon Sound System, Premium Package, and Sport Package.
The car has the Mini Cooper Roof Rack System, as well as the Mini Link System on the rear. I modified the factory Mini Link rack to hold a Yakima fork-mount bike mount. Both the roof rack and the Mini Link rack are included in the purchase, if desired.

I'm a 50-year-old living in Orange County, California, so this car was maintained flawlessly, and treated very well. It was never raced, taken to the track, or been in any accidents whatsoever. The car did have window tinting on the driver and passenger windows, but the California Highway Patrol instructed me to remove it.
