Up for bidding is a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST. I am the second owner purchased the car from dealer with 29, 526 miles and now currently has about 118, 500 miles. I used the car during my 4 year service in the military and during graduate school. The car started overheating during my second year of grad school and I didn't have the funds to repair it. I didn't want to sell the car since it could be fixed and it held a lot of good memories for me. During my time in grad school the car was broken into and the driver side glass was broken and the door lock was pulled out by thieves. I repaired the window, but the lock is still missing. Fast forward 10 years, the car has been sitting in my friends driveway for the past 10 years, the paint has faded, and maybe it's glory days are over but I think the right person can repair it and give it a second life or for parts. I just put a new battery in and the car cranks but doesn't turn on. Probably needs to have a tune up, spark plugs changed etc. The clutch pedal does not come back once depressed, you have to pull it back manually. The last time I used it the car started overheating after driving to for a half hour. I have all four original rims, and three of the tires still have a lot of tread left. I used one of the tires on another car which had a flat tire when I was in school. The winning bidder would have to arrange towing, local pick up. The car is being SOLD AS IS.
