1999 Eclipse GSX AWD-The cars engine starts every time and runs very well. One of the last stock GSX left around. It is a rare car and deserves to be loved by someone. I hope someone will fix it up other wise I will trade it in to the Dealership. Or it could be used as a parts car for someone that has a 2G DSM. The main thing is that the frame is rusted and needs to be replaced. It is the rear subframe. It is really not even driveable with how bad the rust is. The holes in the frame are big enough to put a finger in. The frame could snap at any moment. The rocker panels are pulling away. The front still looks pretty good. Most of the other parts in the back are rusted as well such as the exhaust. The brake lines have rusted and are leaking in the back of the car pretty close to wear the gas tank starts. You can see in the picture on the passenger side where it is wet on the frame from the brake fluid. The fuel filler neck rusted and was replaced, but the check engine light code for an EVAP leak still is on. It pumps gas fine though. Mitsubishi discovered the fuel pump was not working making the car buck and studder under acceleration. I replaced the pump with a 190 Walboro but the sending unit is now not working. So it still bucks under acceleration. The paint is wearing on the roof. Interior is good accept the drivers seat has some wear from the sun. The seat has become rough feeling. The passenger side door handle was replaced. The radio stopped working. Will not play CD's or the radio. The car has new tires on it. The clutch was replaced about 4 years ago and still feels good. Put new rotors and pads on about 2 years ago. I never beat on the car so the engine and transmission are in good working order. If you think of any questions just let me know.
