Hello. I am selling my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant for parts or to be fixed. It starts every time and runs but the engine knocks at idle. There is also white smoke out of the tailpipe, but the car has yet to overheat. The radiator or hoses need to be replaced, and the coolant in the reservoir must be flushed.
The air conditioning and heat works, there's a fairly new Pioneer radio/CD player installed 8 months ago, and the transmission shifts as it should with no issues. All power locks and windows are functioning, except the passenger side window and inner panel needs to be fixed.
This is definitely a fixer upper but if you can do the work yourself, or know a mechanic who can, it will be a great running vehicle again. It can of course be stripped and used for the many other good parts it has.
It is located in Annapolis, Maryland. I do not offer temp tags, however Annapolis has authorized tag and title places (and the MVA) if you need to drive it to a short distance. Otherwise it will have to be towed at the buyer's expense.
