Looking to sell my Evo. I picked this car up in January 2015 for a really good deal. I'm going to pass those savings back along to the next owner. This is one of the cheapest clean title evo's for sale in the country. This is a fully prepped track, hpde, and autocross car. You won't find a better deal for a car this prepped, in this condition. Only looking to sell because I picked up a MKIV Supra and will be codriving a track car with a friend. About $20k has been invested in this car, including about $8k this year. It is 100% turn key track car. All the fluids are fresh, brakes are bled, car is aligned, fresh hankook rs3, timing maintenance done, tune is dialed in. I have full maintenance records. Comes with a box full of brake pad spares. This car is in immaculate mechanical condition, as a track car should be. Car made 308whp on 20psi, which is what I run at the track. Boost can be turned up to 26psi on pump gas if you wish for a bit more power.
Car just underwent a full head rebuild, with everything replaced with supertech aftermarket high quality parts. Also did all the timing stuff, water pump, tensioners, pulleys, belts, crank sensor, all new gaskets, etc at the same time. Machine shop cleaned and decked and did a valvejob with new valves. I had to replace the head stuff because of a case of bad luck. The power steering pulley broke off, it shredded the serpentine belt, and the shredded belt got into the timing belt, and it jumped 4 teeth of timing, which caused bent valves. The good luck part of it, was that it happened as I was pulling into my garage. I had it towed over to a well known Evo shop in the Atlanta, Ebtec, where James Emmino fixed it up for me. He will testify for the cars condition. I made sure everything was replaced and rebuilt to the highest quality, no money was spared (Over $3k invested), so it basically has a brand new fully built head. Everything is ready for bigger cams if you wanted some more power than the HKS 272 in it now.
The car is not in show car condition, the front end shows wear from rocks and rubber at the track. There are rubber marks on most panels. There is one place on the lower front fascia that is scratched up pretty good. There is one chip thats been filled in the driver C pillar. There is one chip on the rear bumper. Exhaust has burnt up the bottom of the rear bumper a bit around the exhaust outlet. I've tried to capture all of that in the pictures. Body overall is in good shape though, vins all in place, no wrecks, no paintwork, no major rust, and still cleans up pretty good for a track car.
I would not hesitate to drive this 3k miles across country or do a full season of 10 trackdays in this car. It is a turn key, no maintenance due, track car. Please PM, email, or text any questions, happy to answer any questions about the car. Happy to work with an out of state buyer - I will arrange shipping (if you pay), pick you up from the airport, etc. Thanks for looking!
