1987 Dodge Raider/Mitsubishi Montero 2 Door In Silver with Gray Cloth Interior..This is my favorite model that has no power windows or locks to go bad.
DESCRIPTION:
For sale is an extremely well maintained, garage kept 1987 Dodge Raider 4X4 4-Wheel Drive, Rare 5 Speed manual with 152k original miles with a clean and clear title. Never abused or taken off road, incredible condition for a 28 year old truck . Runs and drives great. All services are up to date. It is in excellent original condition, showing less than average wear and tear. Unmolested survivor.
DETAILS:
· ENGINE
2.6L 4 cylinder Engine with only 152k miles. The engine runs great but needs carburetor rebuild or tuned correctly because it runs rich on start up.. All service and maintenance are up to date: New rebuilt head and head gasket so engine is like new..
Service done recently.
Oil and oil filter
Synthetic transmission gear lube
New radiator coolant flushed and replaced
New fuel filter
Air filter
New NGK spark plugs
Distributor cap and rotor
Brake fluid flushed and replaced
Greased and lubed
New rebuilt head
New water pump and thermostat
New tires
New windshield
TRANSMISSION:
It has the original 5 speed manual transmission. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no slipping issues. 4Wheel drive work perfect.
INTERIOR:
It has the original gray cloth interior in excellent condition (very hard to find in the condition). This model also has the inclinometer, volt and oil gauge. Has new floor mats. The dash is crack free in excellent condition. (see pics) Also has factory OEM stereo..
PAINT AND BODY:
The body is one of the best I've seen being rust free and in great shape. The under carriage very nice aswell. This Raider does have some small dents and or scratches on the body that could easily be removed with painless dent removal and some touch up. There are some rock chips on the front but not bad, also has the common fading on the hood. Headliner was pulled out because it was cracked and rear cargo carpet was removed.
WHEELS AND TIRES:
Original steel chromed wheels with *New* all terrain tires. 235x75 x 15''
ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES:
It has the factory A/C system that needs charging. Has no power door locks or power windows (bonus).. . No warning lights on in dash of any kind..
SUSPENSION AND BRAKES:
The suspension is stock and rides normal.
This Raider was purchased in Maui Hawaii and then lived in Utah. This truck is truly hard to find in this condition and i hope it finds a good home.. I will assist buyer in transporting and pickup if needed.. Truck is sold as is no warranty..
