1947 Nash 600

Nash 600 (1947)
for sale

Price: US $3,301.00

Description:

For sale is a 1947 Nash 600 2 dr Brougham coupe. A unique brand with much history and tradition, a perfect cruiser that will please. An original survivor that had one paint re-spray many years ago. Flathead six, 172.6 cu. in. with three speed manual column shift with good clutch. Gauges, radio and lights work, spare in trunk original with jack and burlap lining. Although trunk mat is worn, underneath there are no rust holes, trunk is very solid. Rear bumper rechromed some time ago, front bumper could use rechromed but presentable. An Oregon car originally, the last buyer brought it to Pennsylvania but the car never saw bad weather, it was garaged. Interior is in great shape, we would guess that it was redone many years ago in the correct materials. Windows all crank, glass good, SS trim good, exhaust good, brakes work including parking brake, suspension good, recent oil and coolant change. The undercarriage is in exceptionally good condition with no holes or deep rust, some very small surface rust which is to be expected with a car 68 years old. There is
no
undercoating covering up sins, which can be common with sellers trying to hide rust. Tires are older B.F. Goodrich Silvertowns, 600-16 with decent tread. This is a low mileage, original car, body is good for its age. We went over the car with a magnet and found no evidence of bondo. Email or call for questions. We will provide additional photos to serious buyers.
