1960
Nash Metropolitan finished in two-tone Caribbean Blue/Frost White with Black
& White interior. It was the brain child of Nash’s charismatic leader, George Mason and was produced in England and sold in the U.S. and overseas between
1954 and 1962, only about 13, 100 units were built in 1960 for the U.S. This particular Metropolitan is a Series IV convertible, it has had only 2 owners and a total ground up restoration less than 2, 000
miles ago. It features a 1500 ci 4 cyl.
power plant which produces 55 hp, a 3-speed manual transmission, chrome
bumpers, continental tire kit with tire cover, rear trunk storage compartment, Hounds-tooth interior, the iconic Flying Lady hood ornament and color matched
wheels. Everything works including the
original tube radio, ZERO RUST and still has all original body panels. When Steve Jobs was 15 his father bought him
a Nash Metropolitan for his FIRST CAR in the same colors. This car is in excellent condition, it runs
and drives great, smooth, a total blast to drive and way beyond cool. #E76628. Now on display at the home of “over the top cars” CHECKERED FLAG
