This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION.
1955 Hudson Metropolitan with Rare optional flying lady hood ornament. Ebay didnt offer Hudson as a Manufacturer option so I listed it as a Nash. The Metropolitan was only made under the Hudson Brand for 2 years. This car runs and drives well. The Brakes work but could use adjusted and likely a new master cylinder to be considered daily driver safe. The carburetor and gas tank have been cleaned. This car was in a heated garage for many years and has just been put back on the road. There are a hand full of adjustments and minor fixes that should be made prior to being a daily driver. The odometer shows 3722.
I would consider this a cosmetic fixer though you could just drive it and enjoy it as it is or due a full restoration. I see No signs of rust through holes on any of the body panels or floorboards.
Please watch the video of the car running and driving. The engine runs and sounds Great. The Transmission shifts very well (3 on the tree).

The Windshield and door glass is in perfect condition.
The Horn works well.
The turn signals work well.
The Headlights and taillights are not working at this time.
The Speedometer doesn’t work due to a broken cable just outside of the transmission.
The Fuel gauge doesn’t work
The Radio doesn’t work
The generator does not charge the battery at this time
The factory fuel pump needs rebuild, the car is running on an electrical fuel pump at this time.
The Convertible Top needs replaced.
The Paint has many blemishes, some of which have been touched up.
I would like to reiterate that the Engine and Transmission Run Amazingly Well with no problems whatsoever.

The Car Comes with a Clean Nevada Title and is Located in Portland Oregon. The washington license plate doesn’t go with the car. If you will need the car shipped you will have to make the shipping arrangements yourself. I’m happy to help store the car for a reasonable time so that shipping can be arranged. I’m also happy to help load the car to assist in shipping.
