I am going to try and describe this 1954 Nash Metropolitan accurately as I can. This car appears to have been someones pride and joy. Based on the model number it looks like it was converted from a hardtop to a convertible at some point in it's life. The motor is not original and the ID number on the title reflects the original motors serial number, from what I was told.
The overall condition is very nice, not a perfect show car. Quite a bit work and money was obviously invested in this cute car. Mechanically the car couldn't be better, as everything works as it should, even the heater, all the lights, heater, radio (somewhat) The motor runs like top with no leaks, and it shifts and stops as it should. The body appears to be very solid with what appears to be some body work. The paint shines nicely, but is not perfect. The interior was all redone and is very nice. The chrome bumpers look new, and all the glass looks great too. The top is very nice, 8 or 9 out 10 I would say. It come with a binder with records of much of the work that was done.
