1960 Rambler American Deluxe, 2 Door
I have way too many projects and not enough room. . so I’m going to sell it, SORRY BUT... NO TRADES.
This car is a barn find...
1960 Ramber American Deluxe. . 2 door sedan, flat head six cylinder engine, 3 speed transmission. This little car is VERY solid, and only has a very small amount of rust on the edge and top of the front fenders by the door edge... one of the most common places for these cars. The rockers, floors and trunk are SUPER solid with no visible rust or holes.
The chrome on this car is outstanding... no rust, or pits and would polish up like new with little effort. Also the dash in the car is outstanding with all of the knobs, gauges, and trim in very nice condition.
The car seems to be complete, but needs restored.
I have never had the car running... the engine truns free and the engine bay is clean.
The gas tank in the car is rusted on the bottom and does leak.
The car was last on the road in 1990 according to an inspection paper I found in the glovebox.
Like I said, the car is a “Barn Find” it was in an old building with cement floors but was forgotten about for many years.
The car is what the car is... I bought it with intentions of building a pro-touring type car for my wife and I just don’t have the time to get to it.

It truely is a great car. I’ve owned a few Nash/Ramber cars in the past...they always attract more attention than you can imagine wherever you take them.
When you park it someplace you just stand back and watch the crowd gather.

All sales are final... No warranties. The car is located in Quincy, Illinois, about 130 miles north of St. Louis, MO.
I will work with any buyer as much as possible to make the pick up of this car as easy as possible.
The car does have a clean Illinois title and is ready to go.
