Purchased 14 years ago needing only an oil pump, I've never gotten around to fixing this car until recently. Would not start, found it was not getting any fuel to the engine. Tires were dry rotted severely and rims were warped. Intake camshaft was warped.
Replaced: lower timing cover (oil pump), water pump, thermostat, timing chain, guides and tensioners, intake cam, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, ignition wires, new wheels, new tires, number 1 and 4 fuel injectors, brake rotors and pads, right rear wheel bearing
Performed complete transmission, coolant, power steering, rear differential, and brake fluid flushes. Complete fuel system service.
Recommend replacing all four struts and springs, kind of hairy when driving at highway speeds; would recommend hauling it home. Interior needs reassembly or replacement. I only recently got this vehicle running again and have been driving it daily to make sure it is safe to drive and to find out what else it may need, it could still use some work, but it's fine the way it is. I plan on leaving up to the next owner to either fix it back to original or make it their own by modifying considering there's a huge aftermarket world out there for these cars. I've got too many projects going on to continue with this one. So here's a chance at a completely stock car. Thanks for viewing, and good luck.
