I am planning on purchasing a new vehicle and do not have room for this one anymore. It is still my daily driver, so mileage will be higher at the end of the auction. I drive this car from Nashville to Memphis about once every couple of months(400 mile round trip). This Altima is all original and has had the oil changed every 2500-3000 miles. I just had the rear rotors and brake pads replaced within the last week. Alternator was replaced approx 10K miles ago. The belt has also been replaced within the past 15K miles. The check engine light has been on for a couple of years due to a faulty catalytic converter. This would need to be replaced to pass emissions if required in your area, however it has not effected performance. The rear shocks/struts need replaced(every bump sounds like a ball is bouncing around in the trunk) I was quoted $240 from a local shop to do the repair. When cold, it sometimes takes a few seconds to shift into gear when going from park to drive, however, it shifts and runs very smoothly once it is warmed up. There is a dent in the front fender passenger side that was there when I purchased it from a friend several years ago. The front tires have approx 40% life remaining and the rear tires have approx 90% tread life remaining. I believe there is a gasket that needs replaced due to needing to add a little oil between oil changes(the car does not smoke, so I believe it is a gasket losing oil). The windshield is cracked. The cap on the drivers side mirror is missing(think it was ripped off during a car wash, see pic). All internal electrical items work as they should(AC, Power Windows, Radio/CD, Power Door Locks, Cruise Control, Keyless Entry, etc.). The drivers side exterior door handle cracked during a recent ice storm here in Nashville, but it is still able to open properly with a portion that was left(see pic). The driver side door speaker makes some noise, so I think it needs replacing, but it has not bothered me while listening to the radio. There is some sap buildup on the car(primarily roof and trunk area), but the paint looks good for the age of the car. I think a detail would clean that up and do this car wonders. There is no rust that I have seen. The interior looks good with no rips or tears in the leather seats(once again, a detail could really make this interior look excellent). This is a non smoking car. This has been an excellent car since I have owned it. I purchased it from a friend that used it for work and clocked about 800-1000 highway miles per week for work. She purchased it from another friend of ours, so I guess you could say it has been in the family/friends for a long time:). I believe there have only been 4 owners of this Altima, and I know that 3 of them have taken care of this automobile very well. I have tried to explain any issues that I am aware of with a car of this age. As stated, I drive this car daily and am confident with taking it out of town often. It is being sold as is due to the mileage, but I think with a little TLC that it has a lot of mileage left in it. I feel I have explained every pro/con of this car to the best of my knowledge. I will have it washed and interior cleaned before pickup. I can meet your at BNA(Nashville International) for pickup if preferred or will work with you if you prefer to arrange shipping. I have both keys and remotes for the auto. The title is in hand and ready to be signed to the next buyer.
