CURRENT CONDITION:
There is No check engine or any other light on that needs attention.
This car runs great and its very reliable for long trips and work etc. The body does need some work though.
The passenger front door was scraped when my wife backed out hitting the basketball pole. I tried to fix it and now it looks worse than before. When you open the passenger door it creaks.
The fender on driver side rear was repaired unprofessionally and is not smooth looking.
The front fender on passenger was also repaired but unprofessionally. The underneath of the car has some rust but that i think is normal for a car as old as this. There are scratches on the hood, trunk etc. Needs overall paint.
If you move the muffler around, there is some play and i think it needs to be welded back to the pipe, but the car is not making much noise as a result. One of the Hubcaps is a VW one as the original fell off and i replaced it with
one lying around in the garage. The interior is pretty clean.
Car runs strong with motor and trans in great shape. All the windows and locks work great. Radio works great.
Inspected until 10/2015 but i took it off insurance and its in my garage. New battery installed recently with a Manufactured date of 9/2014.
HISTORY OF THE CAR AND DETAILS:
I bought this car 3.5 years ago and have driven it around 26, 000 miles. The car has 222, 600 miles now.
I have done a lot of work on this car and the motor and transmission are in very strong shape and the car runs great!
When i bought the car there was a stalling problem at traffic lights and stop signs. In order to fix that, i ended up replacing a lot of parts until i finally replaced the MAF sensor which was the culprit.
After that it never stalled again. I have taken it to New York and Pittsburgh without a glitch as the engine and transmission are both in super shape.
I installed a cheap aftermarket stereo that does not have a CD player in it. However, it has radio and USB/SD port and Aux In so you can plug in any source like tablet or phone.
The muffler is loose from the pipe. This happened only a couple of months ago and I never got it fixed. The air works but you have to charge it with a can only once every season. There must be a very tiny leak.
Last year i put in one $6.99 can of R134 and the air was cool all summer. I never put anything this year as the car has mostly been sitting in my garage for the summer.
The car does not burn any oil and when i change the oil after 3, 000 miles, i see it basically at the same level as the last oil change.
I have a new battery installed in the last 9 months. Inspection is good until Oct, 2015. I am only selling it now because i am buying a new car. I thought about keeping the car and getting the body fixed, but i don't have the time or inclination to
do too much work on it. I would like this car to go to a new owner who will take good care of it. I have disclosed everything that i know about this car, good and bad. If there is anything i missed, it will not be because i tried to hide it.
Cosmetically, i am sure you can find small things wrong. There is a small cigarette burn on the drivers seat. But the
interior is pretty clean. Dash is good and there are no tears etc.
At 19 years old, this car is a Classic. (Anything older than 15 yrs is classic in PA). This car will run forever literally but the body should be maintained etc.
I maintained a log of the work i did on this car and here it is cut and pasted from my excel spreadsheet.

2/17/2014 215, 700 $196.00 Maf sensor was loose, Bob put on tight. Put on NEW Radiator. There was a radiator leak. Bought radiator Pep boys $116, Paid Bob $80.
3/16/2014 215, 800 $28.00 Check engine light was on. Code 1320 misfire. I removed each one by one and found the #4 one was bad.
The sequence is 135 at the top (left to right) and 246 at the bottom. The #4 was front middle. Replaced coil $20 on eBay and Bosch Plug. Plug was fouled.
