The 1970 Oldsmobile 442 offered here is an excellent example finished in Matador Red with a laser straight body and is a matching numbers car. The care and precision taken in restoring the great car is clearly evident in all areas with appox 7, 000 miles since its refurbishment. Nothing was overlooked in in returning it to factory condition, including all new suspension, rebuilt front end, new interior including all new weather stripping, new exhaust, new tires, windshield and a new fuel tank. Styling for the 442 was all business with the aggressive dual scoops and painted black inserts on the hood. The interior has been professionally refurbished with black vinyl upholstery and features bucket seats with a center arm rest console. Power for the 442 comes from the original 455/370hp V8 and a engine compartment that is nicely sorted and clean (The motor could used some touch up paint as it has some light corrosion and fading paint due to the 7, 000 miles of use since restoration) Other amenities on this 442 are air conditioning, power steering, power brakes.
