1968 Olds, original 442. NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! I bought this car as part of a package and I am focusing on two other cars for restoration. This car is in fair shape for a restoration project. It is largely complete and has a 400 in it which I am not sure whether or not is original to the car. the worst part of the car is the inner trunk lip which is going to need to be redone. The frame is decent and is going to need some patchwork near the rear of the car. Pictures should illustrate these areas. Look at them closely so you know what you are getting. The interior is mostly there, obviously it is going to need to be redone as is the rest of the car. The engine is complete, will not start but was not locked up when I took these pictures 3 months ago. Car has been in heated storage since. THIS CAR IS A RESTORATION PROJECT. With some work could it be running in a weekend? Possibly, but I am not making any promises. I do have some spare parts that can be bought when you come to pick-up including another original 1968 442 hood. The windshield is just resting in place, the lower part of the frame is rough but the car comes with the replacement piece. I WILL NOT SHIP, you must make all arrangements to get this car home. It can stay for 3 weeks after it is purchased as long as a $500.00 deposit is made via Paypal or a mailed check within three days end of auction. PLEASE KNOW that I will take all steps possible through eBay and the law if you try to back out of a winning auction in order to recoup lost time and money. It is encouraged that you come and check this car out in person before you bid. I have told you everything I know about the car, it definitely needs a full restoration, so if you are looking for anything else I would keep looking. If you want a real 68 442 to start your project, here it is!
