Description:
The combined features of this car make it very rare and I have had difficulty finding others like this. I was very excited to find the original muscle car of the best year in my opinion 1969 with a 400 4spd, console, with a factory hurst 442 shifter, power disk brakes, and factory A/C! Not to mention the very desirable colors blue with white stripes white vinyl top and blue interior. Most of this car has remained untouched. From what I have learned about the car the original owner added the aluminum wheels and small lift to the rear suspension as well as headers which were replaced by the guy I bought the car from. Pretty much everything else is stock down to the engine color, valve covers, air cleaner, a/c components etc. I have what looks to be the original nylon spare tire and jack. Most of these things are long gone on a car of this age but not in this case.The previous owner enjoyed the car as is and showed it as a Rat Rod and in this condition it is perfect for such a collector but I wanted to restore it to original condition since it is such a complete example with the right features and options. My plans have changed for the time being I don't have time to drive it or enjoy it so if I keep it it will probably be sitting for awhile. I love the car and I'm not especially motivated to sell it but I decided I would post it and see if anyone else has the time or money to enjoy the car now. I am offering this car exclusively on ebay, it is not for sale locally or with any other sites. If you are close enough to come by and see the car I am happy to meet. | “Runs and drives good, could use a clutch soon, needs paint and interior if desired.I think the only original parts I don't have are the original wheels and exaust everything else appears to be stock. The brakes have been rebuilt recently, almost new tires, lights work/signals work. has holly carb but I have the original carb as well. Has headers with cherry bombs per previous owner. Orininal blue with white stripes and white vinyl top and blue interior with bucket seats and console! Original hurst 442 shifter! 12 bolt rear. The transmission rear seal has a small leak but thats a quick easy fix, I have not noticed any other leaks. The windshield has a crack in it, the body has a lot of surface rust but will be easily restored. There is a small rust hole on the passenger floor and a couple very small rust holes on one rear quarter, and under the windshield where the dash meets the windshield there is some rust and there are a couple insignificant small dents on the body.” |
