You are bidding on a true 1968 Oldsmobile 442 4-speed Black on black with drive line rebuilt. The 400 cubic inch motor shows 73, 000 miles, has been recently rebuilt to original specs. Vehicle has original carb, heads, x and y exhaust manifolds with new exhaust system. Transmission has new surfaced flywheel, new clutch, pressure plate and bearing. All connected to 323 posi rear. The vehicle starts and idles perfect, shifts through the gears without any issues, steers straight and brakes as well with front disc brakes. Interior is 6 years old, dash is in excellent condition with rally pac gauges. Interior and exterior lights, trunk light, AM & FM radio and tachometer are also in excellent working condition. Bumpers were also rechromed approx. 6 years ago. Remember, this is not a show car! Has very minimal rust, scratches and chips in paint but paint is in poor condition. Vehicle has been recently removed from storage and is in need of a tune-up. Bottom of passenger front fender and door has a little rust. Trunk floor and quarter panels are in excellent original condition, but passenger quarter chrome has a small dent in it. (See last picture). Also, under drivers seat the floor has been repaired but not welded in, only a novice repair done. With very little work and very little money, this could be an excellent vehicle that you could be proud of. As pictures show, currently has old school mags on it (I like the look!) but also comes with original rally wheels (Rims only). Remember this is a driver quality vehicle, retaining all of its original body panels, original fenders, original doors, original quarter panels, original trunk lid, and original bumpers, but this is not by any means a trailer queen!
