1968 Oldsmobile 442 holiday coupe.
Clean title & currently registered. (Original license plates included)
Documented two owner vehicle that was manufactured in Fremont California.
This car is in daily driver condition with Factory A/C , power brakes, power steering, new suspension , new tires on original Oldsmobile rally rims (very hard to find) original interior is in perfect shape (missing headliner and fabric for package tray by rear window) Original door panels in good condition (not installed) all glass and chrome trim(bumpers etc) in excellent like new condition. I recently drove the car as you see it down to the coast in Seaside, Ca and back from Hayward, Ca which is a minimum 3 hour round trip with no problems. (this thing is a BEAST!)
all electrical components are in good working order including lights for the dash.
MATCHING #'S 400 CI Original engine has been recently rebuilt from top to bottom with most receipts available and MATCHING #'S Original turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt as well
All mechanical items such as: Bearings, Bushings, Tie rods, Tie rod Ends, Brakes, Fuel pump, Fuel filter, Fuel lines, Radiator, Radiator fan shroud, Thermostat, Hoses, Belts, Etc. Have been replaced. (receipts available). Original GM 1968 442 Grill and Numbers also recently purchased (Not Installed) This car drives super straight
this is a true classic that is extremely rare to find!! this car came from the factory with a vinyl top, Ocean Turquoise paint (or marina blue) and black interior which is a very rare combo.
The car still wears most of its original paint and there Is no Body rot that I can find.
Frame is very solid, all sheet metal is original and There is minimal surface rust on roof and trunk lid.The floors are in excellent shape!
I have done a lot of research and have found these cars with all matching numbers going anywhere from the mid twenties all the way to the high thirties and higher depending on the level of restoration and originality of the car.
