1970 442 W30 Convertible. I have owned car since 1989 and have documentation from the three owners before me back to 1983.
All numbers are correct. 455 W300 engine and transmission. correct carb, intake, exhaust, red inner fender. Everything on the car is correct. Car was in the REO Oldsmobile museum in Lansing Michigan for 2 years.
I have pictures of the car from 1983 and they look exactly like the car looks like today. Car has correct 455 and runs great. Turbo 400 OW Transmission with dual gate. Dual exhaust!
When I bought the car it had been lightly hit in rear. I had rear fender replaced with correct bumper and the car repainted. Paint looks awesome. Interior is original interior and looks like a 45 year old interior.
Dual gate shifter. W30 fiber glass hood. Rally pac dash with 8 track player. (used to work, but now does not). Tires are in great shape. Car is rare and awesome!
What's wrong? Underneath looks like a Michigan car. One of the early owners rust proofed the bottom then another owner removed the rust proofing. underneath shows surface rust , but is very solid. Convertible top has rips on both sides and needs to be replaced.
This is a very beautiful car and has shown great in museum and car shows. To many kids and not enough time to pay attention to it and drive it.
