A super rare W car restored to very high level. A thorough nut and bolt frame off restoration was completed september 28th 2015. Fit and finish on this car is extraordinary. Body was rotisserie blasted, epoxy primed, assembled, bodyworked, dimantled, refinished in pieces and reassembled. Body is base/clear with single stage stripe on top of clear. All refinish materials from metal up are catalyzed polyurethane by Glasurit. Has the most flawless original hood Ive seen in 25 years. Grilles are perfect originals as well. Frame and all of its components were blasted to raw white metal, epoxy primed, bodyworked and refinished in different shades and gloss levels.
This 1 of 289 built 442 is a number and date code matching vehicle from carb to TM code axle (3.42). Rally pack, sport wheel, sport mirrors and SSI wheels. Inline plumbing, Gardener exhaust, PUI interior. Original wheels that were restored with NOS rings and centers. New Harrison 4 row rad. Motor done to 70 specs...10.25:1 pistons, mondello cam, roller rockers. The car is flawless on the road and will impress everyone at any judged event it rolls into. Its time the 72s get their due respect.
