This is a 1998 Oldsmobile Aurora. I bought it as new, and I still use it daily. The current mileage is approx 120, 000 miles. This car will be available after mid-October, when the new car I purchased is delivered.
This car has the diamond-white tricoat, Bose Acoustimass premium stereo. All 4 tires are Z-rated or W-rated, in fantastic condition. The 2 front tires were purchased less than a month ago.
The paint clearcoat is dead. It has just started to bubble, but it is checked throughout. As you can see, despite the dead clearcoat, the diamond white still shines well. In one photo, a bird flying overhead dropped a present which landed on the right rear door. What you see is not damage; the bird drop was during my picture-taking. (See other photos that were taken moments before the bird was overhead).
The interior can use a good detailing. As I said, I use this car daily; it is not a collector car that I bring out on the weekends. The dash should be pressed down with some double-stick tape.
Never involved in a collision.
Maintenance was done without fail, for example: on-time oil changes, and always with 100% synthetic oil, and always with AC-Delco filters.
I do have a small supply of maintenance and replacement items: (all are ACDelco) air filters, brake pads, oil filters. Those are included, as I will have no further use for them.
A phantom, sporadic, occasional CEL shows up and disappears on its own. I feel no degradation in performance.
REASON FOR SELLING:
I bought a new car. I don't need 2 cars. I hate to let go of this collectible, legendary, futuristic car.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
This car is not for sale to hypercritical buyers. This car is sold as-is. You are required to personally inspect it and make your own decision. I do not want you to be dissatisfied with the car. Therefore, when you purchase the vehicle, it will be sold with all present and future faults, on an as-is, where-is, final sale, no refunds, no lawsuits, no buyer's remorse basis. If you can't or will not agree to this, I refuse to sell the car to you.
For your safety and my safety, I will meet you in front of the police station so you can inspect the car.
Note: There is no insurance on the vehicle. You certify that you have already informed your insurance company and your designated driver has a valid driver license.
At the conclusion of the transaction, a notice of transfer will be immediately filed with the DMV.
