1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Oldsmobile Cutlass (1970)
for sale

Price: US $200.00

Description:

Up for sale is one of my projects that I simply don't have the time to complete. It's a straight car, and a perfect candidate for either a full restoration or a clean slate for a race build.
Car is sold as is, where is, and the buyer is responsible for shipping.
That being said, take advantage of the weak Canadian dollar and get your next project car at a good price.
The Pros:
- Rocket 350
- 3 speed automatic
- It currently runs and drives
- Power windows
- Original A/C car
- Brand new Flowtech headers (uninstalled)
- Edelbrock 7111 Performer RPM intake
- Edelbrock 1406 600cfm carburetor
- Brand new gas tank (uninstalled, current one has a dent in it)
- The chrome trim for the car is in the trunk
- Headlights and signals work
- Heater works
- Solid car overall, runs strong and starts right up even below zero
The cons:
- Needs a new battery
- Wipers need to be adjusted, they stick halfway up
- Bumpers are loose, just need to be tightened down
- There are no window seals, it would get loud and windy on the highway
- Power windows do not work, I assume they just need to hooked up
- Power seat doesn't work, assume it also just needs to be hooked up
- There is some rust on the rear fender wells
- Front bench seat is in very rough shape, has blankets over it in the meantime
Included with the sale:
Chilton manual
Reproduction owner's manual
11 x 17 laminated color wiring diagram (very useful)
Car is located in Redcliff, Alberta, Canada.
This is 144 miles from the Sweetgrass, MT border crossing, for any US bidders looking to purchase the car.
**Please note, the photo of the engine is during the install of the carburetor and intake. The engine is now complete with air-cleaner**
Car is relisted as the last auction ended $25 shy of the reserve price

“Car is in rough shape, but has a straight frame, all the glass, and runs and drives. Perfect candidate for a restoration or to build as a race car. Car does run and drive, but I would recommend transporting it on a trailer for an extended distance.”
