Selling 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass S. This car is a bracket racer from the early 80's. I traded a bass boat for this car and it was so fast that it scared me. I only got on it once because it scared me. The 455 motor was built by Dave Kohler of Champaign, IL. I took it to work, the mechanic looked at it because it had a miss and he said that #7 cylinder was dead. I was driving it back and forth to work because it was the only thing I had, it was 5 miles each way, and it threw a rod. I have got a line on another 455 block that you could put all the parts, and heads and everything to build a motor like what is in it now. The automatic transmission is not the racing transmission. It does have a 12 bolt posi trac rear end. The car needs to be restored, but it is straight. The interior bucket seats need covers. Seamstress told me that if I took the headliner down she could fix it. It had a black vinyl top that wasn't padded, but it was coming off, so I went ahead and took it off.
