This is an Excellent example of blending Classic Car Looks with Modern day Power and Reliability. Just turn the key and she fires up. No pumping the gas or choke to worry about. Not to mention the increased Fuel Economy.
This car started as a Rust Free Texas Cutlass (have the Texas Title). It was stripped down to bare metal before being painted with PPG Deltron 2000 Cameo White and Fire Frost Gold before adding a clear coat. Work performed by Nite Restorations in Riley, Mi
The complete interior was removed and replaced with new steering wheel, turn signal actuator, a-pillar pads, carpet, seat foam, seat covers, seat backs, door panels, arm rests, door handles, window cranks, headliner, sail panels, package tray, visors, rear view mirror and more.
The Drive train was replaced with an LS1 5.7 liter and 4L60 Automatic Transmission from a 2002 Camaro.
The engine has been upgraded with a new Comp Cam 54-418-11 ( intake lift .534--exhaust lift .537-- 112 lobe separation) with a 2000-6800 power band. Comp Cams rocker arm kit 16755 (1.8 ratio), 26918-19 valve spring, new valve seats, new retainers, new timing chain and Holley #302 oil pan (LS swap). Work done by Dynamic Speed and Marine
Chassis Dyno Tuned by Motor City Speed
March Performance LS1 Serpentine Dress kit (20095). This includes all polished and Clear Powder Coated pulleys and brackets. The Alternator, AC Compressor and Power steering pump and Reservoir are polished.
Fast Ratio Steering Box-- 2.5 turns lock-to-lock
Dual Computer Controlled Electric Cooling fans and Aluminum Radiator
Dougs (D3338) Coated Headers, Pypes Stainless Steel Exhaust and Mufflers
The 4L60 Transmission has been custom built with the best parts by Detroit Gearbox and a 2000 RPM stall torque converter from Precision Industries out of Tennessee. Also equipped with Derale Transmission cooler with electric fan.
The rear end is a Chevy 12 bolt with 3.73 Richmond Gears, Detroit Eaton TruTrac, an Aluminum Trick Flow Differential Support Cover and a custom balanced drive shaft.
BF Goodrich 235/60-15 front---255/60-15 back on original style wheels (chromed steel rim with trim rings and center caps)
New Spectra Fuel tank, Aeromotive Fuel Pump, Aeromotive Adjustable Regulator and Mallory Canister style fuel filter.
