This model is a milestone in GM history. Innovations abound in this series of automobile, all aluminum V8 engine, uni-body type construction, this small lightweight model was a departure from standard Oldsmobile design.
The car runs, drives, and stops, but It is unknown what work it needs to make it a daily driver again. When I parked it about 10 years ago, it was driven daily and was a dependable car. I believe that it could again be a daily driver with some basic sorting out if that is what your plans are for it.
This is a great car to restore or just fix up and drive as is. I believe the motor to be quite sound. It runs well.
I have owned this car for over 21 years and I bought it from who I believe to be the original owner. I have kept it, intending for it to be a project car, but just never enough time to get started on it. To many other projects in the way. My plan as to turn it into a screaming hot rod. This car is lightweight, and just begs for gobs of horsepower to make a real performance car.
It has lived for the last 21 years in San Diego, California. The car has California registration but is currently listed as non-op with California Department of Motor Vehicles to save money. The dealer that sold the car was in San Diego, CA.
