This car is a blast from the past! 1971 Olds Cutlass convertible, 350 Rocket V8/automatic transmission, odometer showing 37, 196 miles. This Texas car is complete, we have all the trim parts missing from the car. The convertible top has been replaced and the car has recently been repainted. New Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor and it runs good. The tires have less than 500 miles on them. New front sway bar and bushings, new wheel bearings, new front end alignment.
This car comes with an impressive pedigree as well. The original owner was Phyllis George. Miss Texas 1970, Miss America 1971. NFL sportscaster, Co-anchor CBS morning news 1985. First Lady of Kentucky (married to Kentucky Governor John Y. Brown 1979-1983).
This car is not perfect but it is close and deserves an owner ready and willing to finish this piece of American history. It's a true classic and still a beautiful automobile. The Olds Cutlass was one of the most sought after cars of its day and is still a very desirable car among classic collectors.
