I am listing my 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible Indy 50o Festival Car. This is car# 225. There was 53 of these made. Three became pace cars, 50 festival cars. After the Indy 500 these cars went to dealerships were they then were sold. MANY of these cars broke in half. GM issued a recall and crushed almost all these cars. This car went to Ray Skillman's dealership were is set in the showroom. After some time it transferred to the Indianapols Raceway Park and became a pace car for them. Along this time frame GM was crushing the others. After I.R.P. was done using this as a pace car it went into storage. Has set since the early 90's. Car was NEVER titled. According to several searches and LOTS of research this is the only one never titled.
I have had a police inspection done, has had a 5 state title search done for theft, leans and title history. Car has ZERO records. When car was sold to previous owner in summer of 2001 it was in need of a freshen up. Car went to a mechanic who cleaned the injection system and changed the fluids. Carfax will verify that. Car only has 1870 original miles. I have a ton of documentation that goes with the car. A title can be obtained. I have all paperwork to get it. Wasnt sure about getting one. Seeing how this is only one never titled. Had numerous collectors say to leave it be.
THE CAR COMES WITH A BILL OF SALE!!There are some small dents and dings around the car. Windshield is cracked on bottom edge near valance. The interior is near perfect. The rear headrest were removed for the convertible top and for the race car driver to set on the edge. I have the headrest. The hood latch handle has been broken. I have a N.O.S. bracket that goes with the car. Hood still opens from the cable inside. All electronics works great.
I am sole owner of this car. There are numerous websites who hacked my listing and are trying to sale this same car. I OWN IT, NOT THEM! I have more pictures if you are interested in a certain picture. Car can be viewed in person. Message me and we will make arrangments. Any questions ask please.
