1996 Olds Cutlass Supreme
with a 3.1 L engine
and a 4T60E trans The car has 180, 000 miles The interior is in very good condition for its age and the body has minimal rust. The engine recently started burning antifreeze and it was coming out the exhaust in a white cloud.
Suspect a blown head gasket (it hasn't been officially diagnosed. It has not been driven since that happened).
The trans was turning on the check engine light and it was related to the lock up torque converter.
The lock up circuit has been disconnected as the trans was causing issues with it connected.
This would make an awesome drag car.
Some minor issues with the car...
Button for lowering driver's side window doesn't always work, and sometimes has to be pressed repeatedly
Radio antenna is stuck halfway down, cannot be raised or lowered
Radio and speakers are awesome, but CD/cassette unit has a cassette stuck in it and won't work
Rear driver side taillight cover cracked, I have the broken off pieces
Includes extra full size rim and tire
AC does not work (I never use it, so I had no reason to fix it)
Window wash sprayer does not work
Rust starting around passenger wheel well and on driver's side lower door frame
Car was a daily driver until the gasket blew
Never had any starting/running problems in the 4 1/2 years I owned it
Car had great speed and acceleration even with the trans part disconnected.
Please note that the pictures are not taken under the best circumstance.
The car is parked under a tree that blocks out most of the sunlight
There are weird splotches that appear in some of the pics that are NOT on the car
There is no warranty expressed or implied.
You are buying this car knowing it's a project car that needs work
The car cannot be driven and must be towed or flatbedded away
Buyer is responsible for removing the car upon payment unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time
