this is a mostly original 1968 oldsmobile cutlass s. i say mostly original because the engine is now a olds 455. was originally a 350 car. i am not a old car expert so please feel free to ask questions or even let me know about this item. the pictures really tell the story. this car is from the west coast and sat many years in a barn. this car is plated and over the past month has been driven weekly. anyone who would like to look at it in person and drive it is welcome. this car runs and drives very nicely. goes down the road straight and tight. im not a old car expert but it really seems to drive nice. the engine has amazing power and if your not careful spins the tire easily. travels at highway speeds easily and smoothly. the paint is very old and from sitting in the barn has many dings on both sides. tires are nice but look pretty old. interior is very nice with no dash cracks, seats are nice, headliner is nice. speedometer and gas gauge work, clock does not. has power steering and power drum brakes. the top is worn. edges are starting to peel a little. the automatic transmission is a 2 speed. the only rust spot is on the lower fender, drivers side. there is surface rust on quarters. i have included pictures. all glass is nice and windows work smooth incuding vent windows. heat works well. frame and underneath are very nice as is trunk. new york does not issue titles for cars made before 1973 so it has the new york state transferable registration.not a show car. just a nice older driver that you can get in and drive today and has not been messed with. i have tried to describe everything the best i can. it is 47 years old and besides the engine swap is very original. buyer is responsable for pickup and shipping. of course i will be here when your shipper arrives. buyer needs to send 500.00 deposit within 2 days of auction end. balance to be paid within 5 days. all funds must clear before car is released.
