Price: US $200.00
A CHEAP CONVERTIBLE YOU CAN EITHER MAKE INTO A SHOW CAR OR USE BASICALLY LIKE IT IS !!!!!!!!.
First off let me say this car has to one of the MOST SOLID 1971 convertibles I have seen in 40 years !!! It could use some
black paint underneath to look nice but does look very solid.
Please be sure all
your questions have been answered BEFORE BIDDING not after bidding ! thanks
Older restoration.
This car had a complete paint back around 20 years ago. It had rear quarter
panels installed at that time. The car still looks decent but does have
some normal dings scratches or scrapes from use. If you are a
perfectionist you could paint it and do a complete resto or use it
basically as it sits.
I'm looking to receive
a 300. paypal deposit immediately at auction end from the winner.
No time and to much
going on so someone is really going to like making this car just what they like.
This car hasn't been hot rodded by the kids. It drives well and even still has single exhaust on it but that's showing age so if I was to keep it I would put duals on it.
The car has had the 442 emblems added to it for looks
A/C car minus compressor with power
steering and power brakes along with a power convertible top.
This is a ragtop we bought last year
and had some fun with but we are going to put some money in the house
so the car is going to find a new home. We put on a New convertible
top last year along with new pads and a new rear vinal well curtain. It
has a good sounding 350 V8 motor along with an automatic transmission which
looks to need a pan gasket at some point as I get some seeping from that area.
The emergency brake works along with the parking lights , signals, and
headlights work. I know the wipers also work as well as the license plate
light. The car still has the AM radio which doesn't seam to play. The car has
no cracked or broken windows but does have some scratches from age. With the
age of the car I have no idea how accurate the miles are but can guess with the age they
must have been over.
as usual the car is sold as is. This description is mearly my opinion so let me know if you would like to set up a time to come verify this and see the car. If you are unable I believe ebay offers an affordable inspection service. The chrome on the car looks original and shows some age. It could use a heater core if you plan to do any winter driving.
I took this to a cruise one Saturday last fall up to Massachusetts and it drove and handled very nice. It's a very tight old car that's fun to drive. When you first start it in the morning just hit the gas pedal once to set the choke and it fires right up nice.
I am looking to receive a 300. pay pal deposit immediately following auction end.
All in All I think if your handy and can fix a few of these minor things you could have a sweet ride for cheap money.
The spare tire and jack is in the trunk. The spare tire has zero miles.
Final payment due in either in a check, a bank to bank transfer or cash if picking up in person. Any check must fully clear the banking system before the car or paperwork leaves. Please be sure to understand this so it is clear. My bank tells me any check including a bank check can take up to 14 working days to fully clear the financial system. Connecticut uses the title and registration as one. We also have a Bill of sale to go along with the transfer. .
