1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442 Convertible                             Rare triple Yellow color combination that truly glows under the sun!  Factory 442 fitted with correct VG-code 400 V8 offering a remarkable 350 horsepower mated to Turbo Hydramatic.  Loaded with the right options that include air conditioning, power brakes & steering, Gardner exhaust, redline tires, and more!  What a stellar muscle car collectible!
Oldsmobile had introduced the sporty 4-4-2 option package in 1964 for the F-85 and Cutlass models which stayed an option through 1967. Although by 1967, it was only available on the upscale Cutlass Supreme Coupe, Holiday Hardtop, and convertible models. By now, the 442 package had been genuinely refined for its buyers to ensure ample power, excellent road handling capabilities, and deluxe options throughout! This package included Deluxe steering wheel & arm rests, foam stuffed bucket seats wrapped in Morocceen vinyl, Courtesy Light package, Special Molding group, enlarged 7.75 x14” wheels and redline tires, Heavy Duty shock absorbers & springs, along with front & rear stabilizer bars. New for 1967 was the Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission, and revised styling cues that embedded the 442 emblem into the grill, removal of the fender scoops, and relocated the side 442 emblems to the front fenders. Based on documented production numbers, only 3, 080 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442 Convertibles were ever built for 1967, and just 1, 807 units were equipped with the Turbo-Hydramatic automatic.
We are very pleased to represent this 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442 Convertible finished in rare factory code correct Saffron Yellow(Y) over Yellow interior(Yellow) with Yellow convertible top producing an incredible triple yellow combination! Under the hood lies a correct VG-code 400ci V8 producing 350 horsepower & 440 lb. ft. of torque mated to the Turbo-Hydramatic transmission. Options include factory air conditioning, power drum brakes, power steering, Firestone Super Sprint G70-14 redline tires, deluxe front & rear seatbelts, dash clock, center console, upgraded Custom Autosound AM/FM/Cassette radio with factory power antenna & rear seat speakers, power folding convertible top, and power trunk release. Courtesy lights can be found in the interior cabin, glove box, center console, and trunk compartment.
This beautifully solid example has been fully restored, both cosmetically and mechanically. The attention to detail is easily recognized throughout whether admiring the engine bay, interior & exterior, or trunk compartment. Under the hood you will find correct hoses & clamps, proper chrome air cleaner, proper drivetrain components, as well as visual stickers and firewall inspection stamp to finish the factory-like touches. The paint and chrome both shine to show quality level. All of the window glass is clear and scratch free. In the trunk you will quickly see nothing overlooked with a matching spare tire fitted with a redline tire, trunk mat, and all tire changing tools intact. Even underneath, the exhaust system selected was the proper concours style Gardner Chambered, dual exhaust with proper rolled stainless tips. Once behind the wheel, a flick of the key quickly brings this powerful engine to life! All interior features are fully functional including cold air conditioning, power antenna, all instrumentation, and all lighting.
We were lucky to find this example from the Ormond Beach, Florida are complete with original owner’s manual, warranty protection booklet, convertible top instructions, and factory radio guides still in the glove box. Since its completion from restoration, the odometer now reads 6, 120 tested miles driven. It continues to run, drive, and operate in remarkable fashion!
