Presented in Code 72 Crimson Red with a Very Stunning Arctic White Vinyl Interior finished off with an Arctic White Vinyl Power Convertible Top. This Delta 88 Royale has a mere 54215 miles from new and all mileage is backed up by a barrage of all service receipts dating back to 1981.
VEHICLE HISTORY:
This 1975 Delta 88 Royale was shipped to Weil Oldsmobile in Libertyville Illinois and was immediately commission as Erwin Weil (Owner of Weil Oldsmobile and still Owner of Weil Cadillac). Mr. Weil drove the car occasionally until June of 1981 logging only 17, 000 miles. In June of 1981 the previous owner purchased the car from Weil Oldsmobile and just recently traded in here at Online Motorsports on a spectacular 1981 Chevrolet Corvette Sport Coupe
SERVICE HISTORY:
Included with the sale to the next luck owner is a barge of every single repair and maintenance record that this Very Special Land Yacht received over the last 37 years and also includes all original sales documents when purchased.
VEHICLE OVERALL CONDITION:
As far as condition is concerned this Delta 88 Royale was primarily used as a summer pleasure vehicle and was always garaged its whole life. The rear decklid and rear quarters did receive a repaint due to the fact that Mr. Weil (Owner of Weil Oldsmobile) had his technicians install one of the first cell phones and permanently mounted the Car Phone antenna on the decklid. If you had cell phone in those day it was quite the status symbol. The previous owner had the antenna removed and the decklid repainted and blended the rear quarter panels. Overall the 43 year old paint shows well but is experiencing some crazing on the back deck lid which are included in the photo gallery and has also received some touchup on stone chips on the front end which is normal for a 43 year old classic.
The interior is in very nice condition as you will witness in the photo gallery showing no rips, tears ETC. The Arctic White Power Convertible top was replaced in 2004 and still shows like new. The factory original Chrome Spoke Wheel Covers are like new showing no curb rash at all.
MECHANICAL CONDITION:
The mechanical condition of this 1975 Delta 88 Royale is stellar in all areas due to the previous owner loyally maintaining the Delta over the last 37 Years. All features and options work flawlessly for the exception of the clock. All power equipment works as advertised and the Air Conditioning System has just been serviced and converted to R134A and blows Ice Cold.
