For sale is my beautiful 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale convertible with original 455 - 280HP big block engine - runs strong! GM lowered the compression ratio on these motors in starting in 1971 and are designed to run on lower octane unleaded fuel. Also has the TH-400 three speed automatic transmission. New tires with less than 500 miles on them. It's a solid car with 103, 500 original miles. The car was restored about 10 years ago and had one repaint - keeping the original Oldsmobile Nordic Blue color. The paint shines nice, but there are some chips and minor blemishes - see pictures. Couple of spots of some light surface rust on the bottom of drivers door and on the back of the car near the trunk (see pictures). Frame, floor pans, and trunk are all very solid and rust free.
The white convertible top is in great shape and has a blue boot cover (not pictured) to match interior. The interior is in excellent condition! Dash pad looks new, seats look great with no tears, door panels are nice, even the carpet looks good. Everything works including the power top, all lights, turns signals, heater, speedometer, fuel/gas gauge, am/fm radio, heck even the horn works! Equipped with factory air conditioning and all the parts are there, but not currently working, the compressor turns freely. I just gave her a full tune-up and went through the front disc/rear drum brakes. She is ready to go! You won't find a nicer convertible in this price range. Would like to sell before I go on vacation Saturday morning.
